Have changed from Aerolineas Argentina as the flight was delayed for 24 hours for operational reasons.
This meant that I would be late for the course, hence rang travel insurance company to discuss invoking the special event clause. Short answer they cannot approve claims over the phone but sounds OK.
So hired a car and staying with Mum tonight, and flying Qantas tomorrow morning.
Quick exchange of 3k and await the original airfare reimbursement and hope I know a good insurance lawyer to assist me put in my claim.
